The water-bearing copper tubes are laserwelded to the absorber and hence ensure a max. heat transfer.
The innovative absorber connection via elastic spacing strips guarantees a precise and solid stabilisation of the absorber. The defined distance between absorber and the glass enables a constant efficiency during operation. By this a contact between glass and frame can be excluded.
Another highlight of the SUNblue® series is the high efficient and environmentfriendly
coating. The absorption rate of the solar-radiation is 95%, with only 5% emissions.
For comparison: a common black chrome coated collector has an absorption rate of approx. 90%, with 10% emissions.
During the production process only a minimum of energy is required and no pollutants or harmful substances are produced.
The self-supporting collector casing is made of molded aluminium and is silver powder-coated. The back board is protected against mechanical damages trough structured aluminium plates.
The front glass is a 3.2 mm thick solar safety glass. Due to its low iron content of 0,03% it has a high light transmission of 92%. The prismatic inside prevents losses of efficiency trough reflection of the heat radiation. To ensure a high breakproofness and steadiness, the glass is heat tempered and protected against wind speeds up to 250 km/h.
The isolation is made of a 50 mm thick environment-friendly mineral wool. The edges are completely isolated and free of thermal bridges.
